Review the month-by-month pattern
Compare inflows, outflows, and net cash movement across each statement month.
See what needs review
Classification coverage and unclassified totals keep uncertain activity visible.
Export when you need it
Starter and higher plans add the worksheet to Excel and unlock a formatted PDF.
How page allowance works
Only uploaded source-statement pages consume quota. A 50-page statement leaves 450 of 500 pages in the Starter monthly allowance. Opening the summary, reviewing categories, adding the worksheet, or downloading the PDF does not reduce that remaining balance.
Cash basis, clearly labeled
The report records money received and paid during the statement period. It is a cash-basis draft, not a GAAP or IFRS profit-and-loss statement, tax return, forecast, or substitute for professional accounting review.
Create your summary
Upload a bank-account statement. If the conversion passes its review gates, the summary appears below the result automatically.
Questions people ask
Is this the same as a formal profit and loss statement?
No. It is a cash-basis draft built from bank-statement activity. It helps organize revenue and expense candidates, but it is not a GAAP or IFRS financial statement and categories still require review.
Does downloading the report use more pages?
No. Only the pages in the source statement count. Viewing the summary, opening classification details, and downloading the paid PDF report use zero additional pages.
Are transfers counted as revenue or expenses?
Recognized transfer, cash, investment, tax-payment, and EMI categories are shown separately as excluded activity instead of being silently treated as operating revenue or expense.
Can I use a credit-card statement?
Not in this release. The revenue and expense summary is available for eligible bank-account statements because credit-card purchases and payments need a different accounting model.
Need the transaction file too? Every eligible conversion still provides its normal output. See all ClearlyLedger features or compare current plan limits.
